The Malaysian Grand Prix was held there each year from 2000 to 2017 when it ended after which the series left the venue.
The last race happened nine years back.
In spring 2026, Sepang is set to launch the F1 season now.
Bahrain’s Grand Prix is shifting to October instead of that.
Race bosses remark additional racing events might be added soon.
