The Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair concluded its 78th anniversary in mid-May 2026, marking a milestone for both traditions as the event expanded to a five-day schedule for the first time since 2008. Spanning May 14 through May 18 during the Victoria Day long weekend, the fairgrounds in Surrey, B.C. welcomed more than 82,000 attendees, surpassing the previous record of 75,000. Sunday, May 17 drew a single-day crowd of over 31,000, underscoring the event’s growing popularity.

The expansion included a Thursday night Country Fair Kickoff Concert, setting an energetic tone for the celebration. The festival featured a lineup of more than 100 musical artists across multiple stages, with headlining acts such as Brett Kissel, Cooper Alan, k-os, Tony Stevens, The Strumbellas, Gord Bamford, and The Road Hammers contributing to a diverse entertainment slate. This year’s milestones reflect both the endurance of Cloverdale’s traditions and the event’s ability to attract a wide audience with expanded programming.
