Gina Rinehart's Hancock Prospecting has appealed a city council decision to reject for a helipad at its West Perth headquarters. The company argues that helicopter noise is similar to a standard kettle's noise, challenging the council's stance. The dispute has been escalated to a tribunal, with multiple sources reporting on the ongoing legal battle. The appeal comes as the city council opposes the helipad, citing concerns over volume levels. Hancock Prospecting maintains its position that the noise is minimal and within acceptable limits.
