Ed Harris complained at the start about his limited part in the new show in Dutton Ranch, the Yellowstone spin-off. He thought the role was useless and wanted to leave. Harris told Variety, 'with frustration Get me the f- out of here' as he exited the set. He later agreed to return for Season 2 to come back for the next season. The show’s boss reworked the story and gave his character additional depth. That change led Harris choose to stay. Deadline now says he will appear again in the part.
