Clare Wright was seen at lectures, as a prominent historian, noted for The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka (2013), portraying Eureka Rebellion through women’s perspectives. Her work includes ABC history programs, such as Utopia Girls and The War That Changed Us. She earned a PhD from the University of Melbourne, leading public history initiatives at La Trobe since 2022, she has been on the NMA Council. In 2020 she received the Medal of the Order of Australia. for her services to literature and historical research.
