One day after having surgery on his clavicle after a crash at the Catalunya Grand Prix, MotoGP rider Álex Márquez was expected to leave the hospital on Monday.

The clavicle repair involved a plate. Gresini Racing confirmed he remained conscious after the incident. Fabio Di Giannantonio won the race. Márquez is expected to miss Mugello and the Balaton races.
